I have had my booster and feel happier for having it. I like you Tigger continue to wear a mask in shops and public transport. It will help protect others and I have no problem wearing one .

hi Nineteen_Gale. If im able to join a veterans parade i feel proud, because it's something that only veterans and reserves can do
It makes me feel proud to wear my 40 year old beret and corps tie. On monday evening i sang in a community choir as we were doing a concert for the Royal British legion. I recited the citation . While wearing my kit and i was very proud . Take care and stay safe . May peace, love and joy be with everyone

Hope you enjoyed the veterans parade.y daughter lives in Barnsley. We are in Rotherham so not far away. My brother and wife sing in a choir in Sheffield called Bevox, it has really expanded their social life and they have made many friends. There are many things out there and you seem to embrace life by doing so much. Hope you are having a good day. Keep going Mr Chipps

I am so glad you were able to join the parade and sing in the choir, as well as do the recitation. Yes, you should be feeling proud. I am sure that you will continue to this every year as long as your health allows it. may it be for very many years.
Take care and stay safe. May love, peace and joy be with you for ever.

Thank you Nineteen- Gale . i went to the Barsley parade this morning and to me it was the worst organised parade i have ever seen normally veterans are invited to be part of the parade and march past , but non of this happened , we could hardly hear what was being said , so we didnt know how the event was going .
you take care and stay safe and well . mr chipps

Wednesday i moved to Barnsley in 1982 after leaving the army, to me it will never be my home. i kno that millions hav e been spend on a modern town centre, which has ripped the heart out of the town . i am a yorkshire man and will always be proud to call myself a yorkshire man
to me yesterdays parade was the worst i have ever seen , it was a complete shambles, normally veterans are invited to jpoin the parade, but not yesterday. we could hardly hear what was being said by the speakers, and there was not a march past ,; which to me is very sad, this being siad , it was lovely to see all the people supporting the day and many people qearing medals and berets , so with cap badges of by gone regiments. thanksfully my cap badge is still relevant and is the only 2 piece cap badge in the British army
as you mention rotherham is not far from Barnsley , i rarely visit it, but for over 10 months i did attend their college of arts and technology . i earned my certificate of counselling and development in 1999, .best wishes Mr chipps

Thanks for your kindly words. At my age i have learnt to accept disappointment and not get upset i realise that i am a veteran and not a serving soldier, or cadet.
I stopped being that over 35 years ago. My corps tie is over 45 years old. So i will treasure that my beret and veterans badge. Take care kind lady ❤

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.
What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?
Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
