@HarryChubb... Can you kindly leave politics out of this discussion. You have a right to believe what you wish but stop blaming the Government, scientists and the 3 vaccination companies in this regard.
Not all parents are encouraging their children to take the vaccines... Some are quite capable of making their own choice!

@HarryChubb Quite right Harry children don't need the vaccine but many 50 plus have not had a booster who have a direct threat from Covid of hospitalisation or dying. Politics or simply silly perceptions of the public due to rabid Covid fears are causing the whole vaccine program going in the wrong direction, well said Sir!

I'm very full of sympathy for anyone who has experienced bad or fatal side effects from the Covid vaccines. Despite this one really has to look at the bigger picture . I was double vaccinated but just 6 weeks ago contracted Covid from my 8 year old grandson. I also followed it up with a bad chest infection, due to having 2 Autoimmune diseases I suspect. My doctor gave me steroids and antibiotics and mentioned that had I not been vaccinated I would likely be in hospital on a ventilator! This must count for something as so many lives have saved as a consequence of vaccination.

@Mrs E Larkin... I hope you are feeling a little better now that you've been on steroids and antibiotics, and also hope your grandson is alright.
I agree with you regarding the possibility of being on a ventilator had you not had both vaccinations. Most of the people here in Northern Ireland in our hospitals are unvaccinated and are taking up the beds, ventilators, nursing staff etc. They're also soon opening up nightclubs which makes more teenagers prone to catching the virus due to such close contact, many of whom are still unvaccinated. Covid certificates should be brought in for such places, but this is still being debated on.
Thinking of you.

Hi All,
I am going to have the booster vaccine; I don't want to take any chances as the covid 19 is not a very pleasant illness. I suffer from Epilepsy and Respiratory problems, so I am waiting for permission to book, I have already had the flu - vaccine a week ago. GP surgeries where I live are doing an excellent job. preparing for the winter.
Keep Safe.

I was just reading in the news that a new study has come out in America that found that people who have been vaccinated for COVID are both less likely to die from COVID and less likely to die from any other cause in general.
If that's not a reason to get vaccinated, I don't know what is! Looking forward to getting my booster dose soon!

@HarryChubb... This is a UK site so where does Israel come into it? Also if you're censored from Avsite, there must be a good reason?

@HarryChubb I would never let anyone drive me out of a site for expressing an opinion, It just encourages them to try and get other people to leave, and gives them a sense of power, A true democracy allows free speech and to express your opinion even if it upsets other people

I've had all three of my jabs and just had the booster to I listen to the experts not the media because all they do is make it worse for everyone, and I'd rather be safe than sorry ,and I still wear my mask to help others when I go in shops or crowded places Tigger

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.
What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?
Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
