I've had my first dose of AZ. Felt very light headed a few hours after and the next day was very fatigued but apart from that was OK.

I started with severe headaches 8 days after my 2nd jab. I am still having them but i can cope with them without the painkillers.

@nineteen_gale ... Hoping these subside and you feel better soon. If not, please contact your doctor and advise them. I'm still waiting for my 2nd vaccination, but my husband has now received notification from our GP to make an appointment for his 2nd.

@Daisydef
Thank you Daisy
I was going to phone my GP this morning, as my BP was 160 and in red and severe headache last night. But today it seems to be a lot better. I will see how the rest of the day goes. If I get it back, I will ring. Besides I am having Bowel prep today in preparation for my Colonoscopy tomorrow morning. It is horrible. Have to drink 3 litres in 4 hours and endless trip to the loo. No fun in that aye? Thank you for your concern.

Thank you Lesley. Last night the head was throbbing real bad and Systolic BP was in the Red. 161. Took Paracetamol and went to sleep. Today is day 11 since my 2nd jab and so far no headache. I hope this is the end of it. It tends to be worse near bed time. Hope I don't get it tonight. Thank you for your concern.

@Tigger.co.uk same as me I to had the sore arm felt a bit off for a couple of days but I think because I am on a lot of tablets including painkillers and paracetamol it wasn’t to noticeable. Otherwise no problems second one like you in May then start getting out and about again

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.
What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?
Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
