Yesterday with the first chill of weather change,Osteoarthritis liked in with a vengeance. Both knees are screaming....the right one worse and gave way yesterday and projected me to the ground!Treated with piroxicam and a hot shower. Will make app later in week with physio. NO point going to Doctor ! Wrists not great either...keep dropping things....losing my grip ! ( more ways than one ) Anyone got any hints for collapsing knees?

I had a hip replacement 16 months ago due to osteoarthritis. I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made. Yes I was not looking forward to everything post op, but I am now 100% mobile and after not being able to walk any distances I now enjoy walking again and I've managed to lose 2.5 stones. Totally pain free and I've had lots of comments about how much happier I look - my face was obviously showing my pain. If you have any questions please ask!

I have just received a gift of GINGER CHAI TEA made by weeteacompany.com It also contains Tumeric. It tastes lovely and both these spices help with arthritis and other conditions.
My condition has not worsened in the 2 years since diagnosis. If anything...it has improved.I have added both the above spices to a lot of my cooking and usually have a gin and Tonic in the evening ( the quinine in the tonic helps with the excruciating cramps....hardly ever get them now!
