Diagnosed recently with NSC lung cancer. I'm not even forty yet and was a very sporty person. This has been devastating for me and family. I'm glad there are others out there so we can support each other.

I was diagnosed with Adencarsanoma on 2nd March 2021. It was revealed it had spread from the top right lung to the chest area and under the shoulder blade which unfortunately pushed me into a stage 3. I've had chemo and radiotherapy at the same time, so fingers crossed. I'm to start another drug which I'm told is compatible with my type of cancer.

Hi - new to here. I was diagnosed with nsclc adenocarcinoma ALK positive, in the upper lobe of right lung back in June 2021. Localised to chest but in chest lymph nodes - T4N3M0. I've had 2 bouts of chemo (cisplatin and vinoralbine) and 5 weeks of radiotherapy so far, another 1 and half to go. I'm also on a clinical trial at Churchill hosp Oxford UK taking aquovatone an anti malarial drug which aims to increase oxygen levels in tumours and therefore make them more receptive to treatment.
I had 12-14 months of gradual change to breathing, becoming more short of breath on exertion, latterly a catching cough before diagnosis after xray then CT, PET. No pain, nor weight loss.
I believe will be starting immunatherapy after treatment ends would be glad to hear from anyone.
