Hi. I am Chris, had a successful Ivor Lewis op. At Royal United , Bath in 1998. Had 60% stomach and 4cm. Oesophagus surgically removed . Have now been diagnosed May 2021 with lung cancer. Lung biopsy Sep 2021 confirms. MRI Dec 2021 confirms Stage 4 nsc lung met. to brain. I have decided to take the path of palliative care as I also have only one functioning kidney . Had radiotherapy to brain tumour to stop/manage the tumour growth. I want to spend each day to max. And try to live my EOL time no pain and as little trouble to my family and friends. I have got my head around most aspects but it's the little things that seem to niggle like not being able to drive a car. Anyway stay strong and positive is the main goal. Anyone want to chat , I have plenty of free time. Chris.

Hello,
Today I thought we could start a discussion about what type of lung cancer either you, or your loved, has. There exists several different kinds but it could be interesting to see which ones impact Carenity members the most.
