Hello, my mum was diagnosed last year with Fibromyalgia after a 5 year wait.

How can I support her? She's also blind, has diabetes as well

To anyone looking after someone who might fall I would recommend an Oysta fall alert pendant alarm .It works anywhere not just in the house and rings straight through to the carer automatically .Be warned.though it is very sensitive , I lost something in the boot of the car and bent forward too far and it went off , my poor husband shot out like a startled rabbit thinking I had fallen into the boot which I have done before . It's expensive but worth it for the extra peace of mind , my daughter's partner no longer goes home every lunch time .

Hi,

I wish I could get a job so I'm looking to go back to college and do a teaching assistant course, the services are great, I'm not sure whether there are any local groups for my mother that she could attend as she obviously can't get around by herself very easily and relies mostly on my grandparents and taxis as I am not driving at the moment.

the local authority are really I mean they adapted a house for us to live in which has been a great help for my mum
