What treatments have you tried for rheumatoid arthritis? What works for you?

I feel so alone when I get into a really bad state, they expect me to be able to attend their event and if I don't I am made out to be the bad guy all the time :( and it hurts so much and makes me feel worse, I try to explain but no they say it doesn't matter anymore and I don't know what to do anymore
