Do you have scarring from an operation? How long did it take you to adjust to the scars? Do you think we society should be trying harder to normalize scars, like in the art exhibition?

Hi Everyone
I had my ovaries removed and hysterectomy in August 2019, the recovery for me was long, I had a lot of pain afterwards. Now that has cleared up, but one thing I did not count on was the scarring. It never goes away and is so ugly. What do you guys do to make it go away? Or at least feel better about it?
Thanks
