Hello @TaraJ#, thank you for opening this discussion! Let me tag some other members who may be able to share with you.
Hello everyone, how are you today? Have any of you tried yoga? If so, has it helped with your RA pain and mobility? Was it your doctor who recommended it or did you test it out on your own?

Hi @Courtney_J and @TaraJ# I have neither the balance or flexibility to do yoga. I attempted it a few years ago when my joints were less painful, but I couldn't manage even the most basic of poses for long. I do use a couple to help my spine, which I was taught in Back School, 25 years ago and those are the cat and cow, I do those when things are particularly bad and they really help me to stretch things out, relieving pressure.

@YorkshireJayne I'm terrible with balance as well. I've done a few yoga classes over the years through my local council, but some of the positions I can't do. Too old and creaky I'm afraid. I've heard the child's pose is great for the back, but I have to do an adapted version because it's too hard on my hips.
