Hi @april007 don't know if the restless legs syndrome can be connected with as, have you talked to your doc?
I take hot baths to relax before going to bed but it doesn't always prevent me from waking up in the middle of the night because of the pain in my lower back and leg.

I had severe insomnia for about a year and my consultant told me that if you take your biological drug before you sleep then it can cause either insomnia or night terrors so maybe you should try taking it in the morning to see if it helps.
Hope this was helpful.

What if I can`t fall asleep? Just do not say that insomnia is attacking when you involved in something, conscience torments or have unfinished business during the day. Before going to bed I usually solve all the problems and nothing bothers me anymore. I just can`t fall asleep anyway. Do I have to go to pills? Maybe there is another way?

Hello everyone,
How are you today? Have you seen this older discussion?
Have you ever experienced insomnia or other sleep issues with your AS? Do you have night pain or restless leg syndrome? How do you cope with it? Do you have any tips or tricks?

I've been having trouble falling asleep lately, and I don't know if it's connected with my AS, but I get restless legs syndrome..this just doesn't let me relax.
Thanks for any tips!
