Hello @GloriaG
I'm sorry to hear you're feeling poorly. I haven't heard of Erythromelalgia, but I'm curious to see if any of our members have experiences with it?

Hello members: I hope you don't mind me tagging you, but I was wondering if you had anything to share in relation to GloriaC's comment. Has anyone been diagnosed with Erythromelalgia or any other secondary conditions that seem to be linked to your Ankylosing Spondylitis? Leave a comment below!
Thanks everyone,
Michael

Erythromelalgia...is a condition which effects the hands and feet. It is associated with A.S. My hands are red and burning all the time, as are my feet. I have to use cold compresses to cool them down. If anyone else has this, please get in touch..Hugs..Gloria

I have been having very painful and swollen hands so I asked my doctor is this yet another symptom of Ankylosing Spondilitis, he didn't know. So we researched this on the "net" and found something called Erythromelalgia. The soles of the feet and the palms of the hands become very swollen with a burning feeling which causes high levels of pain. It is genetic and I do remember my father having the same symptoms. Does anyone else have this and if so can we discuss it here please. Hugs G
