There is something wrong there. Look at the date you wrote, you both had your vaccine on 08/04/21021. We are still in February. You mean 08/02/2021 don't you?

It's great that so many had the Jan without any side effects. I had mine on Thursday and was expecting a sore arm as I have one with the flu jab, but I didn't get one. However I felt dreadful for 2 days with headache fever and aches, I am not complaining as I feel reassured that it was working. A couple of days feeling rough is a small price to pay to have some immunity from this dreadful virus.

No need to apologise. just had to point it out for other readers. Sorry you have been through so much and more to come. God bless you and hope all goes well. You are lucky that you have been given a date for your 2nd jab. My husband had his 1st on 23rd Dec. he was given the date 13th Jan, but due to the change in Govt. regulation, they cancelled that and is still waiting for a date. I had mine on 15th Jan. and I am also waiting for a date. So you are lucky that you have already be given a date. Hope all goes well with your forth coming surgery, when ever it may take place. I would have thought that for a cancerous tumour removed, you wouldn't be kept waiting. Good luck.

My husband had his Astra Zeneca vaccine at our GPs practice yesterday. So far so good and no side effects.
I can't wait to have mine hopefully soon!

@philantropist I also have COPD and I got the vaccination last Saturday. I had the AstraZeneca vaccine. I felt a little unwell for 2 days, fatigue and rather severe muscle pain, I also have arthritis in my back hands and knees so it made the pain worse that I could hardly move around but I feel fine now. Just common side effects apparently. I try not to listen to too much media hype, I mean, how many people believe that the Corona virus is fake due to media hype?....I want my life back so I had the vaccination.

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
The pharmaceutical groups Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany) announced on Monday 9 November that their vaccine candidate is 90% "effective" in preventing Covid-19 infections, according to preliminary results of their large-scale phase 3 trial, which is still ongoing.
What do you think about this? Do you plan to be vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine is on the market?
Feel free to discuss and share in the comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
