I’m very concerned about the announcement. As I’m in the at risk group I’m worried about going back to work. Whilst I understand It won’t be until the 12 weeks are up but what then, I’ve no idea if my employer has made arrangements to protect the office I’d be going back to. I think there will be more deaths because of the announcement and I think it was completely wrong.

I understand why the rules changed, and think maybe a few people with mental health probably contacted them about the once a day routine, as he said he was doing it for mental health and wellbeing, but also think it is because exercise, fresh air and sunshine are good a helping your immunity and would help you fight not only covid19 but any virus

I was angered on Sunday that the U.K. Prime Minister could blatantly disregard Wales Scotland and NI in his 10 minute speech. Coming out of lockdown should have been a United Kingdom approach taking into regard the areas with the highest incidence. Not just London and the South East.
I am left anxious as a resident in Wales that this will mark a second spike in the death rates and put everyone back. People are already disregarding our local advise and I have witnessed verbal aggression towards those who wish to protect themselves as we in Wales have been advised.
im not ready to stop my isolation/strict social distancing and those around me are equally fearful

I will still be self isolating but My usual Life is is not much different because I live alone ,but because I have no Transport and cannot use Public Transport or Taxis I have to carry all My Shopping from the Local Tesco Express ,therefore I have to run the Gauntlet more often .I have tried to Book a Delivery of Food but have had to wait a Fortnight and yet People on Facebook have told Me that They have been able to Book a Delivery every Week even though They have Transport are not Old or Sick and could use Click and Collect .I did have transport (Motorbike with Panniers) and I was independent but since My Stroke and since My Arthritis has become much worse I have been unable to ride My Bike .Also since Wood Burning Stoves have become popular in this Area and with My immediate Neighbours I cannot go out in Winter without a Mask because of Chest Infections ,also I stopped using Public Transport because of risk of infection so ,I will still be wearing a Mask and disposable gloves and taking My Dettol Wipes for the Trolley, keeping My distance from Anyone for My protection and Others ,trying to keep up with basic Food .I am still unable to sit outside even in Summer because of Garden Wood Burners? why!!! and Barbecues etc.I have to say...sorry ...but the Government does not protect the People in this Country ,We are just Monetery Milk Cows ,We do not really Own Our Own Houses anymore because of the Rates enforced upon Us ,We do not have any real Freedom and Life is made as miserable as possible on every Level .How many Old and Sick People have died ,how many People can afford to live in Their Own bought and paid for Homes because of Water Rates and Taxes and how many People can afford Computers or Phones any more and now Television is changing and and it seems only those Who can afford it will be able to watch It .Anyway sorry for digressing but It is really not a World for Old or Sick People ,reminds Me of that Film Logans Run,I Myself will remain on guard against this Virus ,and Yes I think It is too early to relax in any way .

It’s Difficult for us Elderly people at the moment mostly staying in, only going out to exercise if you can some are unable to get out. Those are the ones who need most help.We are just getting some supermarket delivery’s with a bit of searching on line for food.i have an immune system problem so I will not go to the supermarket shopping.we also help our elderly neighbours with items on our list of food shopping. So we think it’s a waiting game now to see how it goes with the testing and finding a vacation for the virus. I think it is wrong to ease the lock down, if you look at what is happening in China, Germany and others they are going into lock down again, N.I., Scotland, and Wales are doing the best thing possible get the figures write down then ease them 1 at a time don't open a whole lot of things all together.

I too think it is too soon. The new advice is confusing, contradictory and ill thought through. I think it has been done for economic reasons rather than for the health and well-being of the population

I'm still in the extremely vulnerable group I've been told by my job I have too go back too work sooner than the 12 weeks on the letter because apparently Johnson said it would be ok for shielding to go back a bit sooner I never seen it but it's the message I got it's only a week earlier but I am very worried now every where is going too have more potential Corona I may be being overly sensitive but I'm really afraid

Hello everyone,
If you haven’t already seen in the news, many countries in Europe and elsewhere in the world are starting to discuss or put measures in place to end the COVID-19 lockdown.
In his address last night, the Prime Minister Johnson announced an easing of restrictions regarding the lockdown rather than simply ending it.
The Government has established five tests that will have to be met before considering an end to the lockdown:
In addition, a new COVID Alert System, determined by the R number (the rate of COVID infection) and the number of Coronavirus cases, has been put in place to indicate how strict social distancing measures must be. It includes five alert levels, Level 1 meaning COVID-19 is no longer present in the UK and Level 5 meaning a critical material risk of overwhelming the NHS.
Starting Wednesday, people in England who "can't work from home" will be encouraged to return to work, but should avoid public transport if possible. From this date people in England will also be able to spend more time outdoors for leisure, including unlimited outdoor exercise, sport, or sun in parks. The PM also indicated that starting June 1, England may be in a place to reopen primary schools, shops and nurseries in phases, and hopes that some public places (including restaurants, cinemas and places of worship) may reopen starting July 1.
The Welsh, Scottish, and Northern Ireland governments have indicated that they will not be following with the June 1 date for primary schools. Decisions are awaited regarding the opening of shops and other businesses.
What do you think about this easing of restrictions? Is it too early? What do you think the impact will be on those who are extremely vulnerable or at risk? Do have any questions? Have you had any further information from your GP or medical team?
Feel free to share your thoughts and questions below!
Take care,
Courtney
