Lesmal i think the only way to ensure that we are safe from Covid19 is to do regular tests, if i am going to be among groups , i test before leaving home? Then i am sure that if i get a positive test, I know where i caught it, and then i can contact the leader of the group ASAP

@mr chipps ... Thank you. We do test ourselves with the lateral flow tests. Also I was tested in hospital and told I was negative which was a great relief. Very seldom are my husband and I in a crowd, but relying on the bus transport system, one has to still be vigilant. We continue to wear masks on buses, in the city and in coffee shops etc.
Keep safe and healthy!

Lesmal i havent used a bus in over 2 years and dont have any intention to use 1 for as long as possible I still wear a mask in shops, as its become normal for me, and if i forget to wear 1 i feel guilty?
now the main health problem is my eyes, when i my cataracts removed i thought that my sight would improve, but it looks as though i may have some damage, but i have to have 2 eye scans, i for my diabetes check up and 1 for the consultant , to see if my left eye can be sorted, with medication , or need surgery
please keep safe and healthy x

@mr chipps ... Unfortunately we rely on the public transport system as we do not have a vehicle. Luckily we are close to bus stops and they are regular.
Sorry to hear about the eye damage. I hope they can find a good solution through testing. Please know you are always in my thoughts.
Keep us updated on your progress.
Stay positive and keep smiling!

Hi Lesmal . I understand about you not having a vehicle of your own.
I would be lost without my car. As i wouldn't be able to go to some of the places i do using public transport.
I thought that there would be a big improvement in my sight after my cataract removal. And it was better for a few weeks. But then went back to how it seemed before.
It was the optician who referred me to the hospital
Then the eye scan last week showed the damage. So now i have to wait for more eye scans .
I know that theres a big wait for diabetic eye screening.
I will wait until next week to see, if they send me an appointment, then ring the department.
Hopefully i should get an appointment soon in the eye department.
I will keep you updated.
My biggest fear is lossing my licence.
If they ban me from driving in the evenings, it may not be as bad.
Take care and you both stay safe ❤

Hi all on carenity, hope you are all doing okay, I just want to know has anyone else had almost a permanent cold or flu since having their Covid jabs, I seem to be getting a cold all the time, and it's affecting me and my already health issues, I start a new exercise routine, and healthy eating, and I get a cold and it all goes out the window, can't eat, can't walk as I'm hurting so much, I would like to know if anyone else has had any symptoms from their Covid jabs?
