Had all three vaccinations plus flu injection and pneumonia one but recently I have suffered a really bad cold but I think a lot of people has had this but at least this is better than getting covid and now I am feeling better no cold but pain from my illnesses are worse plus I have been getting really bad migraines I have put this down to having dizzy spells also having workmen building me a wet room so not getting much sleep but I know it will be better for me when it is all finished so I am having cat naps in my chair Tigger

@Val1955
Hi Val,
I can appreciate that one as we now have our grand daughter and yes being a parent effectively again is so challanging. There is my wife as well so we work as a team, alone must be daunting and tiring. The school run every morning this winter is a drag but could never regret letting her go into care with their appalling record!
Good luck!

Since we look after our granchild we have colds every other week and it is nothing to do with Covid. She even brought home Covid, not to challanging disease and very similar to the usual culprits of Cold and Flu. Staying locked away for what two years will have let our immune systems guard down and our usual resistance get low. Perhaps it will take some time to build up our standard resistance. I hated Uni as a mature student, every other week I picked up some wonderful disease from around the world off fellow students, we have to live with it, stay safe!

i have been having problems with my sinus for a long time, and sort of get used to having either pain in the nostrils or discharges, but i simply have got used to it, i have had a button in my septum for over 25 years, to partly plug the hole in it i am not putting anything down to Covid , as my doctors havent mentioned covid, except when i have had my vaccines

I suffer with hay-fever and rhinitis all year round due to constant change of seasons.
I live on a daily antihistamine for relief of both hay-fever and allergies.
I will not put a cold down to Covid, as I feel safe enough having had both vaccinations and my booster jab.

Hi all on carenity, hope you are all doing okay, I just want to know has anyone else had almost a permanent cold or flu since having their Covid jabs, I seem to be getting a cold all the time, and it's affecting me and my already health issues, I start a new exercise routine, and healthy eating, and I get a cold and it all goes out the window, can't eat, can't walk as I'm hurting so much, I would like to know if anyone else has had any symptoms from their Covid jabs?
