I truly believe that the if you go into something with the mindset of positivity, it will work more often than not. However if there is just a tiny bit of doubt in your mind that's all it takes.

You are doing the right thing. Stopping Pregabalin, will now reduce your weight if you put it on considerably when you were on it. It did mine. Also Morphine causes constipation, gives you Morphine itch and is also addictive. So on both counts you are doing the right thing. Good luck. Take care and stay safe

Thanks for your support. Since stopping Pregabalin it seems like my body is addicted to the Morphine as I am getting withdrawal symptoms between doses so I now have a new battle on my hands.
I was fortunate not to put weight on with the Pregabalin but the other side effects were horrendous.
Take care x

I am afraid Morphine is Addictive and yo have to gradually wean yourself off it before it gets too far. Talk to your GP about gradual withdrawal rather than sudden. I withdrew it sudden, without any problems and went on Tramadol, Which is also opiates. I took 3 a day for a week then to 2 a day for a week, and finally 1 a day for a week then stopped completely But you need to talk to your GP. Hope you succeed. Good luck

I am considering trying some of the CBD products around, maybe a shower gel and moisturiser that sort of thing. In the meantime I use heat pads and a Tens machine and they seem to keep the pain to a reasonable manageable level.

@Yougatheart Be careful with the pregabalin as with me it caused depression (more pills), weight gain even when on a diet of slim fast and water gained half a stone in a week and swollen abdomen and then had to go through the 16 week period of getting weened of them and weight coming down nicely and also thinking of trying the CBD oil.

Ive not tried any. I worry about CDB oil. I don’t think aroma therapy works. I wouldn’t mind trying hypnosis.

Good morning to all of you,
How are you today? ????
Patients living with chronic pain are often confronted with challenges that make daily life demanding both physically and emotionally.
Did you know that alternative medicines exist and can be used as a complement to traditional medications (meditation, hypnosis, acupuncture, essential oils, CBD, etc)?
What have you put in place in your daily life to reduce your chronic pain?
Feel free to share and exchange comments below!
Have a wonderful day,
Courtney
