Hi there ,yesterday I recieved another letter to help with my lymphoedema because I get a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders they told me to take things a bit easier,so today I am not going to do any of my crafts ,when I finished my radiotherapy, I had a lot of burning sensation, i felt very tired and i didn't sleep so i used canderstan to help cool the burning ,and i still use it now for my arm as radiotherapy left me with lymphoedema, i still get appointments, to see my lymphoedema specialist but because of the covid 19 I can now phone and they will help me on the phone ,instead of going to the hospital, I am on the critical list so I am having to isolate for 12 weeks, my anxiety isn't very good but I am doing what they told me to do ,as having loads of illnesses and fighting breast cancer and emphysema and lymphoedema and having no immunity I find that have to because I know if I get this I wouldn't be able to fight it as it is harder enough fighting everything else ,so please everyone stay safe and abide by the rules lots of love to you all Happy Easter to you all love Tiger xxx

Happy Easter Tiger and EVERYONE else "here"! We are ALL in this together, always have been, always will be, perhaps even more so at the moment BUT have 100% faith in us all and know we'll "come out the other side" of this situation. Sending all my love to you all - stay safe and will always try to be "here" for everyone x

Wishing you all a Happy Easter today, Sunday! May it be a good day for us all; stay calm and remember, we're all in this together. Times are hard for us all, but through strength and support for one another we can get through this. I salute the NHS for spending their valuable time giving care and love to all patients with COVID-19! Bless them!

Hello friends
Wishing every one a very happy Easter. it is strange not to be able to celebrate it with the family, not being able to go to church. But under the circumstances, we all have to stay in and do our best to keep us occupied and exercised. God bless every one. may God bless and protect all the staff working on the front line with little or no PPE.

@Tigger.co.uk We love you too... As Ambassadors we try and communicate with many on the site but it's people like you and @Courtney_J that make our job easier by bringing the community closer together. We all have our own health issues but as one we can unite and share all our good and bad times... Lockdown is even harder but brings us all closer together!
Bless you and all Carenity staff and members who make our communal life so much more comforting and easier!

Hi, my name is Sarah-Louise, I do look on these forums but have never introduced myself.
i suffer from Rapidly degenerative Fibro, I’m a type 1 diabetic, I have asthma and also chronic IBS and restless leg syndrome. I have a vitamin D deficiency and I am also under the consultant at my local hospital as I have something wrong with my liver but not sure what yet.
I hope everyone is staying safe during this pandemic.
The only thing I am struggling with (apart from my illness) is getting n a slot for home delivery shopping.
any advice would be greatly received.
many thanks for reading this. x🌈

Hi Sarah. yes as Tigger said, if you have had a letter from the Government, there is a link to click on and register yourself. There is also a phone number and they can register you after asking some questions. Don't know if you live alone or you have any one to do your shopping for you, but if you are on your own and have no one doing your shopping for you, they do send out emergency essential food box periodically and if you are registered with any supermarket, they can influence that Super market to give you a quicker slot as a vulnerable registered person. With your underlining medical condition you would be classed as a vulnerable person
Hope this helps.

Hello members,
Over the last year I have really enjoyed being your Community Manager. You have all inspired me with your stories of strength facing your different conditions and you have opened my mind through reading your discussions.
It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to you all. I wish you all the very best going forward and I hope you all continue using Carenity and finding it a useful support tool.
It’s my pleasure to introduce Michael who will be moderating the UK forum from here on out. Be sure to give him a hearty welcome and don’t hesitate to contact him with your questions or concerns.
Much love,
