Hi all, My name is Jack and i have suffered from serious eczema and to a lesser degree asthma all of my life, i have gone through many issues with it along with fights with medical professionals that just don't seem to understand how it is having serious eczema. I was listening to a discussion on the radio about how people that experience all sorts of health issues in life are among the best to help others in similar positions. So it got my thinking i want to help people where i can. There was a young boy on the local news near me that was going through a seemingly very similar journey with his eczema and having the same issues getting the correct treatment and advice. Sorry for the long intro but i would like to help who i can with sharing my experience and giving my advice where i can. If anyone know other services or organisations that i could help or perhaps volunteer my time please let me know.

I have had Parkinson's for about 3 years but the signs of it were hidden by an autoimmune illness I have had for 8 years called CIDP. In March this year I saw a local Consultant for Parkinson's who put me onto medication called SINEMET which was supposed to have stopped the violent tremor I have. So far it hasn't worked and now have other symtoms of legs freezing. Is there anyone who can give me any idea of why the drug isn't working. I recently had an appointment with the consultant because of Covid19

Hi, I’m new here so not sure I’m posting in the right place. I’ve had recurrent flare up of sarcoidosis since the 80’s, was diagnosed cealiac about 5 years ago then two weeks ago diagnosed with aggressive eczema, I’ve been given hydrocortisone cream as well as mometasone furoate and demol moisturising cream, I’ve also been diagnosed with porpholyx. I’m in so much pin and the creams don’t seem to be working at all. I’m unable to see a consultant because I’m immune compromised and my doctor doesn’t want me leaving the house just now due to Covid. The eczema is on my face, legs, arms tummy and of course the pompholyx is on my hands and fingers. Please can someone offer any help. My hands are the worst right now....well, everywhere isn’t great, I’m really suffering and coming to the end of being able to cope with this.

Hello members,
Over the last year I have really enjoyed being your Community Manager. You have all inspired me with your stories of strength facing your different conditions and you have opened my mind through reading your discussions.
It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to you all. I wish you all the very best going forward and I hope you all continue using Carenity and finding it a useful support tool.
It’s my pleasure to introduce Michael who will be moderating the UK forum from here on out. Be sure to give him a hearty welcome and don’t hesitate to contact him with your questions or concerns.
Much love,
Josephine
