Hi,
I'd like to ask other patients who have been living with the condition for some time now... how do manage to do sport with MS? Does it really make you feel better?

Physical activity helps manage many of the MS symptoms : it improves your range of motion and your balance, you fall less or don't fall at all, it strengthens your muscles and you become stronger and more active.
Regular exercise makes you feel more confident in yourself, improves your mood and provides you with enough energy for your everyday activities. Being more physically active allows you to enjoy more quality time with your family (picnics, trips, etc), and to do the things you like doing - gardening, church meetings, walking with your dog, etc.
Here is an interesting video about exercise and MS, which we recommend you to watch : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGzeG-zl4m0
Now, what about you ? What regular physical activity are you involved in - yoga, swimming, aerobics ? Share your opinion with other members ;)
Thank you!
Margarita
