@Courtney_J Hi Courtney, I've just joined. I actually didn't have "cancer symptoms" per se, what pushed me to see my GP was actually Pancoast syndrome. I was having constant, terrible pain in my shoulder and arm, and it turns out it was a Pancoast tumour in the top of my right lung that was putting pressure on the nerves in my chest. After a scan it was clear to the doctor what it was. I've had chemo and radiotherapy to shrink the cancer with the hopes that it will take care of it or that I'll be able to have surgery.

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
I thought I would create this discussion so we can all get to know one another better!
So, what is your lung cancer diagnosis story? What type of lung cancer do you have? When and how were you diagnosed? What symptoms were you having that let you know something was wrong? What treatments have you undergone? How are you doing today?

And if you haven't seen it already, there is an ongoing survey available dedicated to adult patients living with non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). If you'd like to participate, you can do so by clicking here:

Take care,
