@natcordova Hello natcordova, thank you for starting this discussion. I'm sorry to hear that your mum is feeling down! Hopefully you can both talk to her doctor about this. In the meantime, let me tag some members who may know something about this
Hello members, have you experienced weight gain after lung cancer treatment? Do you know what could cause it or do you have any advice?

@natcordova Wow your poor mum! I've heard of losing weight from cancer treatments, but not gaining. Is she taking any medicines?

I've been on targeted treatment twice and on both occasions I suffered severe pain so decided to come off all treatment and I've notice that I'm getting quite weighty even though I dont eat a very lot

Hi all,
My mum went through surgery late last year with success and for now all her tests have come back with good results and her cancer seems to be contained for the moment. But between when she got out hospital and now she's put on over 2 stone!
She's really feeling down about it and can't take it anymore. None of her clothes fit her anymore and she already had some joint pain before, but it's only gotten worse. Thing that we can't understand is that she's been watching what she eats and has reduced salt and completely cut out sugar, and her last blood test came back fine. She just can't seem to shift the weight!
Have any of you been through this? What could be causing it?? If anyone has an idea on this, I'm interested!
