Hello,
I suffered from the same condition what helped me and still does is called Trigger Point Injections. The doctor uses a long thin needle with lidocaine. The needle is injected into the knot of the muscle in the cheeck of the butt. The doctor knows which muscle to inject the fluid. For me I was said to have Myofasical Syndrome, the clear substance that wraps around the muscle gets stiff which causes the muscle to become hard. The needle when it penetrates through the muscle causes it to spasm which relaxes the muscle. Because when the muscles start becoming hard they start to affect other muscles which in my case did a chain reaction and the nerve is pinched and causes the pain you described. After 4 or 5 treatments I started to get relief after a year my pain was gone. I had suffered with this terrible pain for 2 years. I barely could walk and when I did I was slumped over and I could only walk a very short distance before I had to rest. I also suffer with fibromyalgia and most people have both conditions. I have to get injections monthly to prevent many muscles from getting hard and causing more pain.
I hope your doctor knows what I'm talking about. Usually doctors treating patients in a pain clinic use this method for muscular pain and stiffness. Good luck, I'll pray for you.

Hi, recently diagnosed, suffering for 5 years with Fibromyalgia and Plantar Faciitis, and it’s destroyed my life.
As a married mother of 5 girls, grandmother of 1 boy, I just cannot do anything, or go anywhere, even before the lockdown, because I’m an in SO MUCH PAIN all day, every day. It’s relentless and soul destroying. The (neglectful) doctors I saw (eventually) haven’t even mentioned the course of action that you spoke about. If I mention it to them, will that have to do that for me?
I’d appreciate some help.
Many thanks. QT.

Hello everyone I survive fibromyagia for the last 6 years after an accident where I hurt my back and other issues. But in the last 12 weeks I've suffered from the wrist back pain and siatic pain I've ever had. I've not been able to do anything with my children over the school hols or even go out much.
I've tried everything from small walks to stretching hot water bottles and ice. I've even taken up reflexology which had helped but the pain is that bad abs I've had or for that long more my calf muscle feels like I've had cramp and aches.
I've had an MRI scan and should get the results next week.
Does anyone have any ideas that I can try to help with the pain? ?
