Hi frannygee. I haven't been on this site for years so I am astounded to read your symptoms. It's like I wrote your post myself ! However neither my gp or Neurology consultant have ever paired them up with Fybromyalgia ! I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia by the hospital 10 yrs ago, after multiple tests. After tests, including cameras etc into my gullet etc, I was told I had Eosophogitis grade 3 so am on meds for that. My hiatus hernia was discovered at the same time. The hand neuropathy is THE most troublesome though, and most painful. The neurologist has put me on drugs used for epilepsy - in the hope that they will encourage my neural pathways to respond but no luck so far. My gp has given me 3 months of acupuncture but again no luck. I would be very interested in what the Community Manager says in response to your post xxx

they put me on all those meds but no better for it I am on vit 12 injections every 3mths initially now every 2mths also on Pregabalin

I've just joined the group, I've had fibromyalgia 36yrs, my pain I've learnt to live with its all the rest that's the problem, tilted optic nerves & dry eyes, pounding & ringing in my ears, headaches, bad neck & shoulders, pins & needles down arms, chest pain, breathing problems, stomach ache, IBS, constipation, acid reflux, prolapsed disc in back occasionally flares up, restless & painful legs, painful ankles & hips, but the worst at the moment as these all come & go, don't have them all at once, is the bladder pain I think it's the worst thing ever, I've seen numerous urologists had bladder & urethra stretched twice to no avail, my GP currently got me on waiting list to see another but I'm refusing anything invasive as can cause scar tissue & make things worse so probably refuse to see me lol, I'm wondering if I should see a specialist in the actual condition? I've seen a rumatologist years ago, but no good, anyone any advice please.
