Getting diagnosed with fibromyalgia: Why is it so complicated?

Getting a diagnosis for fibromyalgia can be a real challenge for both patients and doctors. This condition is often diagnosed through a process of elimination, after ruling out other illnesses with similar symptoms. 😕

The widespread pain, chronic fatigue, and sleep disturbances can be confusing, causing many patients to go through a long period of uncertainty before finally receiving a clear diagnosis. On top of that, the lack of awareness and training among some healthcare professionals can worsen the situation, delaying appropriate care and support.
