Hello everyone, how are you today? Some doctors and studies have postulated that cervical dystonia is linked to TMD (Temporo Mandibular Dysfunction), a condition where the temporomandibular joint in the jaw is out of alignment. Interestingly, one of the suggested treatments for TMD that has also proven helpful for CD is botox injections, because they can help with jaw tension, headaches, and lockjaw.
Have any of you tried botox or any other TMJ treatments for your CD? Has it helped reduced symptoms? Have you heard about the possible link between TMD and dystonia?

Hello. I have had cervical dystonia for two years and I have had 3 botox sessions so far. I am making progress and feeling better compared to my previous condition. What I wonder ıs that do you think TMJ treatment is useful or does it reduce the symptoms of cervical dystonia?
