Exciting news for those living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD): Mirikizumab, a drug already approved for ulcerative colitis, has shown long-term effectiveness in treating Crohn’s disease as well. New studies reveal that this medication can help patients achieve and maintain remission for years, improving quality of life and easing symptoms like bowel urgency.
Some key findings include:
