Which are the effects? I don't know if I'll need one soon, they still tell me I don't need treatment, but I'm pushing... and I would like to know what you went through? Is it hard?
Thanks

hi varjacks
have you been diagnosed with prostate cancer ? well it depends on what treatment you have been advised to have if you have definately got it, after my operation i had about 10 weeks recovery but i was one of the unlucky ones that had problems with the urethra afterwards hence the long time getting things sorted out. the cancer was got rid of 5 years ago i then had radiotherapy which i had no effects from, because the operation messed up my spyincta muscle i had a problem with bladder leaking in the end when they had sorted out the urethra i eventually had an artificial spyinca fitted which means i do not need to have a bag. so yes its been a long journey getting to where i am today but at least i am still here to tell the tale . my best advise would be to not worry take it all in your stride and just go about things as if nothing has happened, you will be well looked after and afterwards you may have to have a 6 monthly psa test just to make sure things are ok. a positive attitude will work wonders for you. like most health problems people deal with them differently and indeed some have problems that others dont but i wish you all the best put your faith in the doctors and surgeons but most of all have faith in yourself and keep your spirits high and you will come through it with flying colours. chris

Hey thanks for the answer
I do have been diagnosed, but they say is not that bad to make anything about, which freaks me out cause I am afraid it will develope soon in something bigger or worst. But what you are telling me about the tratment helps a bit thanks :D
