Certainly when I went through cancer treatment drinking was not an issue as it was the only thing I could do. Eating was my real issue as I lost 6 stone in six weeks, did do my diabetes good as I moved from injecting to diet only control. Since the treatment it mostly destroyed my saliva glands making drinking constantly essential in my life post cancer, stay safe!

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
Many of the treatment options for cancer - especially chemotherapy and radiotherapy - can lead to dehydration due to side effects like vomiting or diarrhoea. If severe enough, dehydration can affect your skin, your blood pressure, and even your energy and state of mind.
Have you had trouble staying hydrated whilst in treatment? What do you do to stay hydrated? Do you have a special drink or cream you use to ease the effects?

Take care,
Courtney
