@Courtney_J dear Courtneyhelsby. Thanks for your message about my Cancer.
I note that you say that you are sorry to read about my diagnosis .
This is a turn off phrase that is commonly used, but it upsets me and I personally never use it when hearing of peoples bad news, such as bad health diagnosis or bereavement
What I actually say to people is that I feel sad for them. Which is true(.i never say I am sorry unless I upset people) . I created!a poem about my thoughts and my nhs counsellor likes it .
Please accept my thoughts/ suggestion without malice
Best regards Keith (mrchippsthe poet man)

I was and still am classed as highly vulnerable and I had a flu vaccination booked for saturday 3October
But I have received a text message postponing my flu vaccination until saturday 10thoctober.supoosedly because of a national situation .how can I firstly be classed as highly vulnerabe requiring me to self isolate for 18 weeks.
but now not classed as such. When it comes to me being protected against flu I amage 70 plus
I am completely confused . As I was originally for self isolating
First it was 12weeks,then14 and finally 18 weeks
Who is running the asylum ( country) and how can we know who to trust???

i was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, and found myslef unable to cope with the monster, that i beleieved had invaded me and made me feel filthy inside. .
but now with talking to urology consultants and other nursing specialists, i can cope and accept that it will not kill me, but i will live with it like several other long term medical conditions. i am gald to be live
i wou;d like to try and learn how other people learned to accpet and live with their cancer diagnosis and move on with their lives etc
