I certainly believe I suffer pain from both the cancer and the medications. It feels like everything has a knock on effect. Iv always had pain since my diagnosis in Feb 2014. After months and months of different tablets and medicines I'd given up. We all know we should never do that. Iv recently had a nerve block and it's definatly working and highly recommended. I'm not sure if this post will be seen as I can't seem to find another. If you do read this and you are at your wits end, then try not to worry because there is something out there for everybody. Just keep digging. please feel free to reply to me : Catonyaz

I was told I had prostate cancer in 2007, yesterday was told that no more could be done, just keep having the hormone injection and taking the steroid. Cannot have chemo due to a heart and kidney condition. Feel constant pain in lower stomach, not so bad that I cannot manage it, have learned to control pain since 1964 when had a serious accident to my leg. I am 81 and feel very low about this prognosis.

I'm very sorry to hear that and hope you are feeling a little better today. It's not very nice is it to feel down, especially when you've got so much going on. constant pain will bring anybody down, it just seems to chip away. My pain is good today so I'm taking relief from that. We will all have our own strategies to deal with it. I must admit, you sound amazing to be getting on with it as you obviously do. I'm ever so sorry about your news yesterday. No words can describe how that feels. Keep talking , don't feel you need to hide your feelings. It's great you're able to communicate it on here. Iv never used this site before but I think it will help people like us. Even the smallest of questions can make massive differences. Take care

Hello everyone,
Many might not realize that there is pain connected to cancer. Did/ do you experience any pain from either the cancer itself, or from the treatment? And how do you manage it?
Good day to you all,
Marina
