Diclofenac to become a prescription drug

I dont agree that it should be banned. We are all different and all have different reactions to medicines.

Just because it didn't agree with one person doesn't mean that other people that it helps should be deprived of it.

I cant take tramadol....it makes me loopy  Or as my husband says  "loopier"    I wouldn't think that should be banned because a lot of people can take it and it helps them. I just make sure the GP doesn't give it to me.

I had this medication few years back.

It made me very dizzy and unable to focus on my everyday activities unless itook it early enough in morning thus i was able to go back to sleep for few hours for effects to calm down but left me feeling sickly 

I always used suppositorys of this drug cos too hard on stomach u can also get it in a spray 

Diclofenac has caused stomach ulcers in my case... I won't ever take it again whether it's on prescription or not. 

Lesmal like most of the family of drugs including Dicifenac, Ibrufen etc. there is damage to the stomach lining so it is a must that stomach protecting drugs be taken at the same time. Over the years I have always taken such drugs together stomach protection like Lansoprazole and now take an additional stomach drug. My issue is using liquid Metformin which also attacks the stomach linings so I use Diclofenac sparingly. Now looking at other drugs to control pain as my quest continues to find a good alternative for my many years use of Diclofenac.
