@chrissymac1985 Hello chrissymac1985, thank you for opening this discussion. I think one of the things that those who don't have a skin condition don't understand is the toll it can have on one's mental health. Let me tag some other members who may have some experience with this.
Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Do you feel like you get adequate support from your GP ? Do they take your condition seriously? Has your eczema or atopic dermatitis ever gotten to a point where it made it difficult or excruciating to move? How did you treat it? Can you recommend anything to chrissymac1985?

I have seborrhoeic eczema so it only affects my ears and hairline. So it’s not as bad as I’m sure many others here have. But it does drive me mad, I am constantly scratching my ears. I use steroid cream, anti fungal and emollient but it’s hard to administer in and around the ears and hairline! I find Eurax cream quite good for the itching and it can be bought over the counter.
I have a flare up right now and think mine isn’t stress related. This Coronavirus doesn’t help with that!
I can only imagine how awful it must be to have it over your whole body, so in the grand scheme of things, I feel I shouldn’t complain too much!

Hi,
I suffer with atopic contact dermatitis. I’m in extreme pain. Since having my daughter 18 months ago my skin has been out of control & no matter what I try I cannot relieve the inflammation or stop it from happening.
im really struggling to get any support from my GP & need some help.
mom finding this so difficult to manage, to move is agonising & is seriously starting to impact on my mental health. Some days it hurts for me to pick up my daughter
many advice is welcome
