Hello everyone, how are you today? Have you or your loved ones had eczema as an infant or young child? How did you handle it? Did any particular creams or medicines help? Can you share any advice with Galilee26?

My toddler of 2 years has had eczema for a year. It feels like an ongoing cycle. It itches her, cracks then peels off and nothing seems to work. Any advice please?

@Jojoseph Hello Jojoseph thank you for your question, I've moved it to this pre-existing discussion dedicated to eczema in babies and toddlers.
Hello everyone, do you have any advice for @Galilee26 or @Jojoseph for eczema in infants and young children?

@Courtney_J my cousins son has has terrible eczema since birth, he's now 7 and its reasonably under control.
My cousin had tried all sorts with him but found the best creme was quite a cheap and available one called Palmers cocoa butter formula. I've seen it in boots etc before.
Might be worth a try. Must be hard with kids as its difficult to reason with them I imagine.

Hi,
I am new to this forum and also new to this skin condition called eczema. My baby has somehow inherited her dad’s skin condition and had eczema since she was 3 months old. She is now 7 months old. We’ve been to A&E twice because of it and I’ve used about 8 or 9 types of creams and ointments and constant steroids but nothing seems to help. Any tips or advices I can use? Thanks!
