@Rina19
Hi Rina, I have patches like this - I’ve only had the condition for the past maybe 14 weeks now and the only thing that controls it for me is the steroid cream. It’s not on my face so I’m using betamethasone 0.1% - I’ve also been advised to only wash with dermol 500
I see a lot of people saying changes to diet can help - cutting out alcohol, dairy and refined sugar as they can be possible triggers.
Others mention introducing supplements to their daily routine, zinc, omega 3 and l-histidine. I’ve started taking all but haven’t been on long enough to see any significant changes.
my best advice would be to keep bothering your doctor for other possible treatments - I think light therapy is next on the list for me if I flare up after this final attempt of controlling with steroids.
sorry that you’re going through this.

Hi everyone
I have been suffering from a rash around my mouth/on my nose and chin. It starts as a small cluster of tiny pimples and then spreads and makes the skin around it red. I have seen two doctors who say it is an eczema that I will just have to live with.
I use elecon cream (steroidal cream) and this gets rid of it if I put it on for a 2-3 days but then it pops up again somewhere else. I see this morning it has flared up with fury on my nose and the right side of my face again. Can anyone give me tips on what may be causing it to flare up? Am I using the correct topical cream and any tips on how to manage it better ?
I have bought a hyper allergenic face cream and use no face wash at all.
thanks !
