I recently lost my eldest dog Cloobie Doo. When does grief become depression when does depression trigger schizophrenia symptoms. Cloobie Doo was a massive part of my life, I lost her in may during lockdown my vets were amazing they set her up on a drip so they could social distance and administer the euthanasia I could hold my baby as she passed. I came home to a lonely dog who looked for his sister. My paranoia and conspiracy theories had been running wild since Covid anyway but the funk that followed the death of my girl was awful was it grief or had it crossed the line into a full blown depression it reminded me of when my son passed away from potters syndrome did I have post natal depression or was I naturally grieving the loss of a child.
I don’t have the answers but with my arthritis another dog was not an option but my kitten 🐱 was Ebony Doo is a little life saver. Do you have pets and do they help you
