My partner Graeme, is 59 (I am 72) and he was finally diagnosed wth Parkinsons July 2015, but now, is having his walking affected badly and general movement, his Brain is sharper than mine, and he gets so depressed as he cannot do the things he wants to.
A visitor from the Benefit Maximization Dept, Liverpool CC advised him to apply for a higher rate of PIPs, he is on the lower one, we have done and they are doing a house visit, at first they asked WAS HE GETTING BETTER AND HOW LONG WOULD IT LAST,?? do ATOS not know that Parkinsons is terminal, I give up.... anyone else having the same problems please.....??????
