Top chef
Definitely prefer being on pump alot easier and more freedom with setting temporary basals wouldn't go back.

I totally agree with @stephenmcd the pump is better, though the injections doesn't bother me , I did them for so long, but now I like the pump better

I'll have to agree with both, the pump is definetly better

I think a pump would help with the instability of the disease, which would be a great help to me!

Pump!!! though they say inhaled is better, but for sakes of this question I would say pump, no need of pinching yourself in frotn of others

I would rather be on a pump as I believe it would help to stabilise my erratic blood sugar levels, and therefore reduce the amount of hypo's I have - my blood sugar levels drop alarmingly!

Hi I have used pumps for 16 years out of 36 yrs being a diabetic and started on a patch pump last year and it's fantastic , I'd hate to go back to pens

pump!!! As I already commented in other discussion, it is really easy to use and you have access to your results online, so you can share them with your GP withouth having to go see him in person.

I've been Type 1 for nearly 50 years. I prayed for a pump for my second pregnancy 25 years ago as I'd had real problems with my first one. Fortunately I was given one but I hated the tube being attached to the pump. I know things have moved on (actually they're bigger) but on the whole the mechanics haven't. I almost gift wrapped it the morning I gave birth! I asked about patch pumps, the Omnipod in particular, but was told that I couldn't have despite the teenager round the corner having one and swears by it. I wonder if he'll have to revert back to injections when he turns 18? I have looked into the Cellnovo but was told by my nurse that I couldn't have that either as they don't supply them and there are problems with it. Cellnovo asked me if I'd be willing to move my care to another county, as they supply them! It's a postcode lottery and it's not fair.
In an effort to control my blood sugars I have invested in a Freestyle Libre which is expensive, but I love it and typically this means I'm saving the NHS money!
Well thanks for reading my rant - it makes me feel a lot better having written it down and in conclusion I'd love to have a patch pump rather than 5- 8 injections a day!
