Fibromyalgia "Brain Fog" does exist, I often have it, but not all the time. There is I find a distinct difference between "Fibro Fog" and general forgetfulness, I couldn't remember where I'd put my specs last Thursday and I often forget people names -even when I know them really well! But, during these incidents my mind is clear and alert. When I have a "Fibro Fog" incident the word "Fog" is very apt, my mind is very cloudy and slow and I can't concentrate or think. Reading is very difficult - words don't seem to be able to stay in my brain long enough to make a sentence, or have any meaning. I can't concentrate enough to follow tv programmes. It feels like I've been drugged.
