@JosephineO Like most sufferers with this crippling problem I find on a day to day basis that getting mobile first thing in the morning is the worst thing. I would say like most people with this complaint it’s the same pain is a horrible thing and makes your life so depressing and that impacts on families more and more. I have recently stopped taking opiated medication because it wasn’t doing anything for my problem. But I am aware that I can do a lot more with Holistic medication if I can find the right balance. James. 🙏

Cooking eg. peeling and chopping veg, lifting saucepans etc. My fingers don't bend anymore so find it extremely difficult to pick up small things. Difficulty with small buttons etc. Walking any distance , had two knee replacements, 3 operations on my feet to fuse bones, but still in a lot of pain

I can relate to every one on here I have OA in my neck, lower back, hands. Knees, left ankle and left foot....The most simplest of tasks becomes a major problem....I get fed up with the frustration of having to ask my hubby to help me all the time, to zip up my coat or button my blouse, he is more than happy to help, but I've been a professional lady who did thing's for others I'm not used to having someone do things for me I feel OA plus my other health issues have taken my independence....Yet rationally I know this isn't so, this was something I always tried to reassure others and now I'm in the same position and thinking the same thing 😩 Pain changes you, it's not nice on so many levels

I can relate to you Sonia. it is very frustrating not being able to do things for your self when you were helping and advising others for the same thing. i am in a similar situation, where i can not look up to get things of higher shelf due to bend in my hips and back. Lifting heavy saucepans, chopping vegetables are also difficult chores due to arthritis in my fingers. Being in constant pain in the back when standing or walking is very frustrating. I walk with 2 crutches when I am out on the road, but in the house, I don't need them for short distances like from room to room. but i do need to sit down every now and again to relieve the pain before carrying on. Yes, I agree with you. Pain changes you
