If you have COPD cant really manage the exercises. Although I do agree on quite slow exercise.

In water you are weightless. If you take your inhaler before you exercise, and do very gentle slow exercises, even just walking in water, bending from side to side, holding on to the bar put your one leg behind you and stand and do the same with the other end, would be beneficial. Any very slow gentle exercises are doable if you remain calm and not stressed. If you are able to float on your back, that would be good too. Do relaxation therapy. Whatever you decide to do, wish you good luck

Hello everyone,
How are you?![emoticon cute](https://member.carenity.co.uk/static/themes-v3/default/javascripts/vendor/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/cute.png)
While many may worry that exercising with OA could harm the joints and cause more pain, research shows that people can and should exercise when they have osteoarthritis. In fact, exercise is considered the most effective, non-drug treatment for reducing pain and improving movement for OA patients!
So, how do you stay active with OA? What do you do for exercise? Are there any activities that you find more adapted for people with osteoarthritis? Have you noticed any improvements to your OA following your exercise?
