Life is no different for me - no! , it is different - I'm busier than ever ... I may be in my chair but I am called out to the lab at all times. It's certainly all nonstop. Perhaps I will get the opportunity to explore the bedroom again and make use of the facilities - I'm sure there is a bed in there somewhere
Even before Covid-19 I would have to say I'm always busy - I use the travel time to cases to listen to the radio or music - and I usually have 1 or 2 audio books in the car which keep me amused. And somewhere in amongst I find time to eat [being diabetic I have to find time for that occasionally ]
I may be paraplegic but it is all non-stop and I enjoy every minute of it ....
Oh ... in case you are wondering - I am a forensic pathologist/
Take care and keep safe.

Went and brought my lottery ticket earlier, with the hope I could win enough to not only buy my house, but also a caravan holiday home, then took a walk for approx 2 and a half hours, and stopped to eat some fruit, and take photos of the swans

We tidy and declutter a room every day. Putting things away we don't need. I have a dog 2 cats rabbit and a hamster I get to spend 1 to 1 with each of them through out the day. We have a large garden that helps. We me and 2 son's wh I live with we used BQ twice over a couple of weekends but found too much waste in food as it's hard to judge but dogs liked the left overs. So we just plodding along.

Glad to hear most people are managing to keep themselves occupied. @Courtney_J ... Regret no books for me... If I open up a book to read, I fall asleep every time a coconut! I'm a Google fan and do online research, especially for epilepsy which I've had for over 46 years! I'm on Facebook, Twitter, email i.e. open up, reply and delete emails and try and do online courses for a short while until I get bored! Anything to keep my brain into gear!
My husband is a 'forest fundi' and takes my Jack Russell for his walk to a forest nearby. My dog thinks he can catch the squirrels, but in the end he has no chance as they're so much faster than him. When they're up the tree, Rhodie gets 'dumbfounded' and carries on running to find them. Its so funny watching him run backwards and forwards not knowing where they've gone! I go occasionally, but can't keep up with my husband's footsteps; I usually end up running behind him so don't enjoy it.
My husband does the shopping for me every 2 weeks, by catching the bus into the city to one of our supermarkets who delivers for us. Last time they couldn't deliver for about 4 days, so he ended up coming back on the bus with packets galore! How he carried them, heaven's knows!
I tried to do a bit of 'home filing' last week, but it drove me mad trying to sort out papers into the right piles. Job was accomplished in the end, and I managed to put labels on files I'd bought sometime ago which were sitting in the cupboard! Once again, paperwork is piling up and now the files are done properly, it'll be so much easier to file into the right one. I also bought a paper shredder a while back to help with shredding paper instead of having to tear it all up; one of the best pieces of equipment I bought! It saves the hands especially when I have osteoarthritis in the left hand. My printer is also very useful and helps me print important papers for filing when necessary! Doing Admin from home is my forte. Many years' ago I worked as a Personal Assistant to Directors, so I'm used to office work, even though I'm not paid for it! I also love editing, grammar and punctuation, and did my personal story of life with epilepsy a few months' ago.
Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday, stay safe and above all, stay healthy and happy!

Going back to people's comments about the Government registration and letters from Doctors' surgeries... It amazes me who the Doctor and Government consider as 'vulnerable'!
Who's to say that someone with a Neurological condition or invisible disability is not considered 'vulnerable'? How on earth do they determine who fits in their listing? Also, I believe there are no more spaces for registration and/or supermarket registrations!
Regret, its a mess as so many people are just left out of the process!

I have no time to get bored. I keep myself busy all the time, doing spring cleaning of every room, filing and admin work, on line grocery shopping and looking for slots which is a night mare. I try and fit some exercises every day, but have not done any as I walked into the foot of the bed, squashing my 3 toes 9 days ago. I am not sure if i have cracked them. They are still very painful but the bruising has reduced. Still painful to put any weight on the toes, hence not done any exercises and sadly have gained 0.4kg. Will have to get back into exercising asap. I miss my walks. I can not go out of the house as my husband is shielded and he is not allowed out for a year. i can not go out because i don't want to put him at risk of catching anything. But we are safe and happy. Hubby gets to do some DIY and gardening whilst i do the house hold chores, washing and ironing etc.
Take care and stay safe every one and pray that some day we will resume normality. I am afraid it won't be any time soon though, but we can hope.

It sounds like most people are active which is a great aspect to staying at home and keeping healthy! Today's a bit of a weird day.... Increase of dosage for my epilepsy medication for another 2 weeks, so feeling a bit dizzy and having blurred vision... Bless you all and will be back later! Not a good day for me plus my laptop is slow today!

Hello everyone,
During this Coronavirus pandemic, many of us have been advised to "social distance" ourselves or even to stay at home, limiting contact with strangers, friends and even in some cases, family. No more outings to the cinema, the shops, the theatre and all those things we love to do.
We may be "stuck" at home, but let's not let it get us down!
Here are a few little ideas to help you keep busy while staying at home!
Take advantage of this time to:
What will you be doing whilst staying at home? Do you have any tips or ideas for activities? Share you thoughts or ideas below!
