Naproxen has been the greatest pain relief for me, all my joints absolutely relieved. But no side effects of diclofenac and Ibuprofen!

I don't know about changing medicines being an issue but the shortages of our medicines. I changed medicines not by choice or a medical need, just that I can't get the drugs prescribed!

I was on and off antidepressants from 2002 up until March 2018, which is when I was put on a trial dose of 50mg of sertraline for 6 months. Only about a week before my review, I found out that my late dad had been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer due to smoking and I was heartbroken. When I had my review the following week, I explained to the doctor about my late dad's diagnosis and how it had affected me and he upped my dose from 50mg to 100mg of sertraline and I have been on the 100mg since October 2018.
Sadly as you will have probably guessed by me saying "late dad" my dad passed away from terminal lung cancer due to smoking in March 2019.

@Rahul.R Well abandoned Llyods and their appalling postal service and gone back to Boots, shortages of drugs by the Chemists are the major issue for me. But Naproxen has proved a useful drug for me taking away the everyday joint pains!

@robjmckinney I have found that Lloyds often takes several days to process a prescription although they will give a few pills in an emergency until they process one's script.

@BAZWHEAT I have waited up to two months for essential medicines off Lloyds. My mother in Law died in agony some years ago due to Lloyds failure to provide the most basic medicine. I used their online service because they used a different trading name so unaware of who they were. I made myself ill and suffered badly from the shortages of medicine by Lloyds, I have lost feelings in my legs due to damage caused by lack of control of diabetes. Rowlands are no better as they can never fill a prescription on the day, these are life threatening situations to seriously ill people like my wife. Add on the logistics of distancies travelling round to find a chemist to fill your life saving prescriptions, this is a serious issue, especially if disabled.
I do wonder just how many lives are being put at risk, or conditions made worse by the poor service!

I've been on so many combinations for my epilepsy in 49 years. I think the best one I can recall for seizure control was Carbamazepine, which is branded here as Tegretol. Unfortunately Tegretol didn't work for me, but Carbamazepine is not available here.

@BAZWHEAT Generics are not the same as brand name medications. Some have different chemicals and can affect each person differently.
Tegretol caused hyponatremia whereas I never had a problem with low sodium when on Carbamazepine.
