@IsItAllWorthIt Yes it is certainly worth pursuing your interest in photography. You seem to have an eye for a good scene. If you like I can offer some pointers. Cameras see in a different way to our eyes. Often I will look at a superb view but the camera stays in the bag. I have learned about what it takes to make a pleasing picture not just a record of what I see. I'm sure with a few pointers you will find photography much more fulfilling.
Cheers,A.

@Crackaig I would love to print "Sunset from the local beach" for my dad. I know he would just love it. I love it too... you are really talented

Can I join this group? I document a lot photographically. I have to spend a lot of time outdoors to get the sun and to walk - acouple of hours certainly keeps the depression on an even keel. Environmental stuff keeps me interested.

This is a great idea! All the photos here are lovely.
I used to love photography, but only started to get a wee bit better at it a few years ago. I haven't done it at all over the past 2/3 years. Living in Scotland is fantastic for it (when you can get out and about). Feeling quite inspired now though, I think I'll give it a go again :)

I'm wondering if we have anyone on here that enjoys photography and would like to share their pics.
I took it up when i was very depressed while suffering from Graves disease and it really helped to get me out of the house and improve my confidence because i was learning new things all the time.
This is a pic i took of a friend during a fishing trip in the Highlands. It's significant to me because the day was actually cold and blowing a gale, we caught nothing at all because we could hardly cast a line. Yet the pic came out sunny and serene looking. Kind of synonymous with my life :)
