Hello Kellee55,
It's been a while since I've been on here too. My wife is doing ok, she's staying in and I'm the one going out for the shopping. My wife can't really do exercises because of her knee, she was meant to have a consultation last month to see if she definitely needs to have it replaced but it was cancelled. Maybe someone else on here will know of some good videos.
Stay safe,
Bob

I just put on some 70's music and dance ( not like l use to) but l use exercises l have used pre-osteo or seen on videos and customise them to my ability now. I need new knees and hips but have osteoarthritis in all joints and so l exercise in when l can and accept when l cannot. There are some Chair exercises on YouTube and they are good. my knees and back are the first to go when doing exercises stood up. I use to go to water aerobics before the lockdown that felt good. I just adapt exercise routines to myself now so l cause no bad pain.

There are some very good chair exercises for seniors on line. They are slow, and easy to follow, yet good enough to make you feel good afterwords and are definitely beneficial. i have got 2 bad knees, one needing replacement asap but i persevere with the exercises and they do help. if yo can manage stretches, its very good to do them. They help you stay supple
Good luck.

Hello Kellee55
Have you considered Tai Chi? There are several of us in the class with arthritis and it really helps with balance, mobility and mental wellness.
The club that I belong to have been doing weekly on line classes and are just about to start a beginners course. Take a look at lctkd website, it's a very friendly welcoming club and the online stuff has been brilliant, so I'm sure that the beginners class will be equally good.

Hi! My name is Cassie and I live in Idaho, USA, I'm something of a wreck health-wise. I'm an 18 year survivor of Thyroid cancer, Have had fibromyalgia for almost 30 years, Osteoarthritis only started bothering me the last few years. I had DuQuervain's tenosynovitis in both hands and had successful surgery in September and November of 2019. I also had Triggerfinger surgery on 4 fingers and both thumbs and now all that bothers me is the arthritis!! (I have some lovely Bouchard’s nodes on each thumb, which usually only hurt when I bang my thumb on something). My hand surgeon told me that I have Dupuytren's contracture. My father also had it, but never had surgery and before he died both hands were in a claw-like position. I'm hoping that the surgery may keep that from happening. Oh, and only recently have been diagnosed with Atrial Flutter. Great.
Now, as far a lock-down I had just begun doing Holy Yoga (4 weeks) when we were told Covid19 had hit our neighboring state of Washington. We are a very rural area, so lockdown wasn't really that difficult for us. My husband usually does the grocery shopping (social distancing & wearing a facemask) and he walks our dogs several miles a day. An Airedale & Welsh Terrier both need to do that or they'd go bonkers! I take them to an acre we have fenced in just out side our home so they can run freely and I get exercise fetching the ball. (Haha, they make me fetch!)
Our area (to date) has not had any confirmed cases of Covid19, but most of our churches have gone online with services. We have had Zoom conferences with our various obligations. Last Sunday we went hiking up to Copper Falls and there were more folks there than I've ever seen; mostly from out of our area and some out of state. We tried our best at social distancing though no one else seemed to care. I guess we shall see if they brought any virus with them in time. I'm trying to attach a photo of our daughter & son-in-law & grand baby at Copper Falls.

@bobM1972 @cazmarelda @nineteen_gale @maddoglady Good morning all! Thank you all for the lovely suggestions! I will definitely try the chair exercises and I am interested in the Tai Chi. I've seen it on telly and in films and it does like very relaxing and meditative. I've written all these things down, thank you again.
How are you doing? Things are slowly getting back to normal where I am, but I'm still being careful with my mask and keeping proper distance from people.
@NIdahoGal What a lovely photo! Glad to hear you're staying safe across the pond!

Hi all, I haven't logged on in some time. How is everyone? Have you all gone back to work or resumed your usual activities? I'm still staying at home for the most part, but that's because I don't really have anywhere to go!

Hello everyone!
It's been a while since I've been on here... Well, it's not like I don't have time to be on here now with the lockdown!
How are you getting through self-isolation? What are you doing to take care of yourselves? Are you still going out to do the shopping and the like, or are you managing to get it delivered?
Ah! I also wanted to ask, does anyone know of any good exercise routines that are easy to do at home? I've been trying to keep myself moving, but just one walk a day doesn't feel enough for me. I'm looking on the internet for videos, but I see so many, but also nothing that tempts me at the same time... I'm not sure there are any that are adapted those of us with arthritis and it's a shame.
Hope again you are all doing well, and thanks in advance for any replies!
