Hello LyvLyv, I'm sorry to hear about your husband's sufferings and about what you are going through. I have been in the same boat for some time and I can tell you that it doesn't get better unless you really concentrate on fighting. It always helps to concentrate on details - like what you can do right NOW to make his life easier, and to help him with particular things by particular actions.

Hi, my mum has a neoroendocrin toumor, it started in the intestin and got into the liver, so, we know it is a big deal. It is hard because I think she doesn t acept it, she doesn't acept she is sick and when she feel sick, she gets angry with life becuase she is going through this, and when she feels good, she pretends nothing happens... I am realisitic, I know about her condition, but I don't know how to support her, should I confront her and talk about it in a realisitic way? or should I follow her pretending that nothing serious is happening? I don 't want to push her, I want to be for her in the best way possible

Hello, I'd like to open a discussion on how we could support our loved ones who suffer from this horrible disease. Personnally, I was devastated when I found out about my husband's tumour, I felt weak and helpless, but so did he, and I said to myself that I must be strong for him. And I don't let myself cry in his presence or show any signs of weakness which is very hard to do.
Has anybody been through this? How do you cope with all that ?
