@Courtney_J I haven't been told officially "diagnosed" by a doctor, but my migraines are linked to my period. I've had them since I was a girl, usually in the week before my period. It usually starts on one side of my head and migrates to behind my eyes. Most of the time I can't eat or sleep from the pain and I end up vomiting from the nausea. My gynaecologist switched my birth control to one that is supposed to reduce the migraines but I haven't seen any changes. The only thing that works for me is Anadin Extra. I'm hoping that the new pill will help, but if I doesn't I may ask for a prescription medicine for them because they're trully debilitating.

I started having migraine in my early 20's and it eventually got so bad that I went to see my GP about it. He put my on a triptan spray in addition to paracetamol which helps a bit if I take it in time. But it does have a tendency to make my nausea worse.

@CJames my migraines started when I was a younger it started when I got really stressed but the worse was when I lost both of my parents, when I feel nervous, or stressed, out, or if I get worried about anything recently I have had them regular I am on 2 amitryptyline at night I do find they help but suffering with ptsd low moods depression and anxiety because of the trauma I have had to deal with in my life but I won't be talking about that as it causes to much pain, but I was only young when my migraines started
