Hi Betty
I too have suffered from migraines, usual painkillers did not help. I started taking feverfew. After about three months taking the feverfew the migraines cleared up. I have had 2 recurrence's both times after surgery, many years apart. Took the tablets again with good results.
Please check with your doctor or a qualified herbalist before you try this. It might not agree with any prescription meds you might be taking

Hi Betty
I don't have migraines but I do have chronic pain from a number of longterm conditions 10 years ago I went on transdermal (skin) pain patches. I started with Butrans changed every 7 days Then went on to Fentynl duogesic patches I found stronger, they do come in various grams.
I found so much of my body pain Be it neck head or back were totally gone. I must say I could not take paracetamol or ibuprofen or neurofen Or indeed tramadol xydol or any oral pain killers useful and they all ripped my stomach to bits. The pain patches are so easy, they look like nicotine patches and they are worn anywhere the skin is thin, my arms or tummy or inside thigh etc Or on your back or neck if you have anyone to apply them for you. Not taking oral tablets has been the best thing I ever did. Talk to your Doc or get them to refer you to a pain clinic All the best Suzy

I am epileptic and constantly have headaches with neck and back pain. I'm not allowed ibuprofen due to epilepsy medications, but take paracetamol and then Panadol occasionally. Due to brain aneurysm surgery in 2019 I'm not allowed Co-codamol.

I don’t have migraines but I have chronic pain and find that half a naproxen tablet twice a day helps but it can cause constipation

Hi Betty, Migraines are the worst aren’t they. Sadly I don’t have much help other than migraine meds themselves. I suffer with migraines a lot and have a preventative pill which I take daily and one to take when I get a migraine. On the plus side the preventative have made a massive difference I’ve gone from having them daily to once a month or so. I hope you find something that helps for you.

Hello
After my first child I started getting migraines a few days before I get my period. So you can imagine, I get at least one migraine a month. I also noticed this happens with the changing of weather. When its cold one day and hot the next (which is happening more frequently with climate change). Since I can't really prevent them from happening, I usually just treat the symptoms with ibuprofen. But I was hoping someone else can offer another way since my body isn't responding in the same way. I think I might need to take an extra pill, but I before I start down that path, does anyone have another suggestion?
Thank you,
Betty
