@Courtney_J Mine are cyclical, following my period. I get them in the last few days before my period or in the first few days of having it. When I'm lucky and they fall on the weekend I usually take some medicine and lie in a dark room and try to sleep them off, but if it's during the week when I work I take my box of anadin extra with me to work and avoid people as much as possible. I used to wear sunglasses against the light, but my new glasses have a blue-light film on them and that has helped a bit.

@Raindrops I luckily don't have them every month, but I'll get one that last at least a week every six months or so. I usually take a shower with the water on blast beating down on my head and neck and it almost feels like a massage and then I try to sleep it off. I usually have to shut out all light and put a pillow over my heat so it's pitch black, otherwise the nausea will overwhelm me and I have to run to the toilet to be sick. I've heard blue light glasses can help with headaches so maybe they'd help my migraines too

Hello everyone,
As you know, migraines can differ from person to person. For some they may be cyclical, following the rise and fall of hormone levels, or for others they may be caused by a another condition, medication or lifestyle habits.
How often do you have migraines? What do you do when you get them?
Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences below.
Take care,
Courtney
