Friend
I try to stay as active as possible, but sometimes I have so much pain that I can't make myself go for that walk. Even though I know it can help me. But I find that swimming can be liberating in these situation. I also see a physio regularly.
I try and limit the use of medicine, so I am interested in tips for other ways of relieving pain.

I also try to keep as active as possible mainly through going for walks when able. I also take amitryptaline and slow release diclofenac which i find make a big difference. I also take tramadol if pain is at its worst but try to avoid using it due to side effects. would be interested in finding out other ways to deal with the pain as i dont like to be on so much medication.

Hello everyone,
There are many ways to relieve symptoms of fibromyalgia, since it manifests itself differently in everyone. Which treatments are you using to relieve pain and overcome the disease?
Medicine such as; Painkillers, antidepressants, muscle relaxants, antipsychotics, sleeping medicine?
Or other treatments such as; Swimming, general exercise, physiotherapy, psychological support?
Good day to you all,
Marina
